"CLF Weekly Warrior Page"-formerly "My KB Moment of the Week"
Ok Everyone! Here it is, the "CLF Weekly Warrior Page" (formerly known as My KB Moment of the Week)! Post your accomplishment from this week beginning from Sunday, July 18th! Be proud of your hard work!!! - Coach Monica
My 'warrior' moment was being able to see a difference in my running/pace thanks to the adjustments that Coach Ryan showed me. (and no, I'm not just saying that because he's my hubby!) My form was terrible (I've got it on video to prove it!) and just with a few classes, I've seen a big difference! I shaved about 45 seconds off of a distance that normally would have taken longer before I learned the proper technique! -- Coach Monica
My "warrior" moment of the week was when we were doing 1 rep max for dead lifts. I have never lifted over 120 on the dead lift if I recall correctly. So I started loading the bar (I never count my weight before I'm done) and finally got to my one rep max. Then Amy added up my weight and I had a 1 rep max of 193=)-Jackie-
Jason- My Warrior Moment was doing my 1 rep max bench press of 295. John had to give me a spot when I went for 300. I have not benched that much weight since college. With me being out of comission for a month; to come back and throw up that kind of weight is awesome. Thank you Lord for being there with me during that lift.

Psalms 144:1 NIV 1 Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
I don't have a Warrior moment that I can think...So I will say this, I am proud of everyone this week. You guys have all worked very hard duuring alot of challenging WOD'S. Congrats to all for their new PR's. Keep up the good work and you will only get stronger!!!-Amy
OK...so I thought of one...Not quitting the burpee/thruster wod. I have never wanted to quit so bad in all my life!!! I was hoping to just pass out or get stung in the eye by the wasp that kept flying around me...That was the hardest wod I think I have ever experienced!!! Didn't quite though!

ReplyDeleteI completed 10 unbroken, unassisted pull-ups in a row. Before that I could only do 6.
